One of the connecting rod bolts was cross-threaded and stripped, destroying threads in bolt.
Damaged 82-87 BMW E30 E28 25e M20 Oversize Piston Connecting Rod Set 6 84.23 OEM: STOCK #: 40206. The piston rings are included, but they should be replaced before installing the pistons. These are used original BMW parts.
Reference to driver/passenger side is for left hand drive cars, so RHD vehicles UK/Japan/Australia, etc. Please reverse the indicated. Rarely, large or difficult to package items will take a day two longer.
The piston faces are clean and free from damage. See the photo below for illustration. Still not sure this part will fit your car. The piston skirts have a few very minor scuffs in spots, but there are no serious or widespread issues.
Condition: This set of piston and connecting rod assemblies was taken from a 1986 325e with 431k miles.
